Couponing has its own special lingo, so a few guidelines might help clarify things for the newbies!

There are several different types of coupons. The first are the traditional coupons which appear in the Sunday paper or in magazines.  The second kind are internet printables (IP) for short, which are available online at various manufacturer’s or retailer’s websites, or in coupon sites such as coupons.com, smartsource.com, or redplum.com.  Finally, there are the loadable coupons.  These load onto a frequent shopper card, such as those used by the Kroger family of stores.  Currently, our favorite loadable coupon sites include PGesaver (Procter and Gamble), Shortcuts.com, Cellfire.com, and Unilever.  You can only use one physical coupon per item, but Kroger stores will honor both an internet and a hard coupon on the same item, which makes for extra savings!
